We cordially invite you to the training on "Wellbeing for youth workers - how to work with yourself and be a good support for youth". This training is for all youth workers who want to learn more about key aspects of mental health care and building resilience.

About the event
We prepared the training as part of the piloting of documents and methodologies created within the Erasmus+SAFE SPACE 4 YOUTH andBENEFIT projects.
The training is covered by EU funds and is therefore FREE for participants. We will only ask you to fill out the feedback questionnaire.
What will be the content of the training?
- The basics of mindfulness : what mindfulness is about, why to practice it and how to start with it.
- Relaxation techniques : to reduce stress and tension.
- Working with emotions : how to know your emotions and how to work with them in a healthy way.
- Resourcing : recognizing what gives me energy and what takes away.
- Empathy and active listening : how to be a real support for youth.
- Destigmatizing mental health : how to support young people in open communication about their mental health needs.
- The State of Youth Mental Health : What the Data Say, Symptoms of Mental Illness, and How to Know When to Get Help.
- Support network : where to turn for professional help.
